DESCRIPTION
The Sterlab Normal Human Epidermal Melanocytes (NHEM) are isolated from the epidermis of neonatal foreskin or adult skin from different locations (e.g. face, breast, abdomen). NHEM are cryo-preserved at passage 1 and delivered frozen or in culture vessel. They can be used for one culture and then one sub-culture (P2).

RECOMMENDED MEDIUM
Supplemented Growth Medium Melanocyte (Ref: 205MILCM – 125ml, 250ml or 500ml).

PRODUCT CHARACTERIZATION
Each batch of melanocytes is tested for cell morphology, cell viability and immunohistochemical method Fontana Masson. The cells test negative for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV, and Mycoplasma.

PRODUCT USE
These cells should be used for research purposes only (no clinical applications).
After delivery, start immediately with the protocol for cryopreserved cells or the protocol for proliferating cells.
