The Sterlab Normal Human Dermal Fibroblasts (NHDF) are isolated from the dermis of neonatal foreskin or adult skin from different locations (e.g. face, breast, abdomen). NHDF are cryopreserved at passage 0 or 1 and delivered frozen or in culture vessel. They can be used for one or two culture and then one or two sub-culture (P1-P2).

Fibroblast are mesenchymal cells derives from mesoderm and they are one of easiest types of cells to grow in culture. Fibroblasts secrete a nonrigid extracellular matrix that is rich in collagen and also large quantities of hyaluronan.

RECOMMENDED MEDIUM
Growth Medium fibroblasts (Ref: 205MILMM – 125ml, 250ml or 500ml).

PRODUCT CHARACTERIZATION
Each batch of fibroblasts is tested for cell morphology and cell viability. The cells test negative for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV, and Mycoplasma.

PRODUCT USE
The Sterlab Normal Human Dermal Fibroblasts are for in vitro research use only and not for diagnostic or no clinical applications.
After delivery, start immediately with the protocol for cryopreserved cells or the protocol for proliferating cells.
